days pass and years follow, yet we're still stuck in the same spot, a hand stretched out for those who are walking by, a plea of support, a plea of friendship. a child in those shredded clothes, tears marking tracks of time and misery, of crimes and bitterness, and you still hold that shield of ignorance as you rush ahead. time is being kidnapped, a cry of help echoing in the oblivion as the hands rotate, rotate, spinning and spinning, caressing those numbers as the sun hide in shame behind those hills; another day wasted, yet you are still going, going. The circle is neverending, the tail is nonexistent, but we are still chasing the unreachable, still puffing and huffing in our efforts. so, why don't you take this hand, this outstretched offering of love and company in our constant stumbling.
